my SECOND zoo in a week that now wont open..

I had my initial zoo fail to load in and I have previously contacted support and they told me they can't retrieve it and I should just close it to get my CC back.

But now my main zoo that I've been working on with 7000 guests and well over 50,000CC spent on animals; now will not load into the zoo and I'm stuck at the bear walking on the screen forever.

I'm sick of literally spending hours on hours on hours on a zoo for it to then just not be able to open ever again!! Like I literally don't understand what is the cause for the save file to corrupt? I PAID for this new DLC. Then went into my zoo and set up enclosures for the new animals. Then closed game to have dinner. Then came back after dinner and NOPE, GAME SAVE CORRUPT OR SOME RUBBISH! Could it be because no one actually playtests this game for simple bugs like this crap escaping thing that is happening to all my monkeys? I'm just getting really annoyed at this point. Like is it even worth messaging support to see if they can retrieve the zoo.. my guess is they can't do !

Lastly, it just sucks that I've spent well over 100,000CC on these two zoos and they are offering me 25,000CC and 10,000CC to just close them and move on.

I have had that yesterday with an enormous zoo, of which the people in the forum say it can't be loaded. After an initial crash I lowered the graphic settings and it started to work. The fact that you can't load the zoo, or that it crashes at the load-up screen doesn't mean it's corrupted. If it crashes, you have a white text screen that gives you an option to report the issue. Use it, maybe it helps.
If there wasn't a message, and you were just stuck in the loading screen, ask yourself if the zoo wasn't to big for your computer anyway. I understand your frustration. You probably made some awesome habitats and building, but it is what it is. Try loading it from the "my zoos" section. You have no proof that it's the game's fault, unless I'm missing something here.

I'm not trying to be mean to you, but without proof, it's not fair to blame the Planet Zoo crew.

I had the same issue, just wouldnt load! I had to go into the "auto saved" version which luckily had saved not that long before I closed it down and that went in fine straight away. No idea why I could not get into my saved version and the auto saved version worked as they were basically the same!

same here save will not load, 450hs on my zoo loads of cc lots of animals all gone, not starting new zoo cant trust it, i feeeeeeeeel your PAIN...

My computer is legit built for gaming, never had an issue on any game before; but for your sake, I did try dropping my settings to "lowest quality" and save file didn't load before reporting the two save files to devs.

Secondly, I said the save file is corrupt not that my game crashes so I have no idea what you are on about... So I presume you have never had a corrupt save file if you can just load back into your game.

Further information for you. I have tried loading the last autosave, and last two saved files and they are all corrupt as they all were within 5 mins of another after about 2 hours of building.

Lastly, I can blame the Planet Zoo Crew because it is just another one of there bugs. In their response to my ticket about my corrupt save they said "This means that sadly, it won't be possible to recover your zoo, I'm very sorry about that. We made some changes in the November 27th update to hopefully prevent this for all future zoos but this wasn't able to retroactively fix zoos made before that date." Although my last Zoo that was created was created after November 27th which proves that they didn't fix the bug.

My third zoo went down like this a while ago... couldn't do something about it either because everything was "lost" and couldn't be loaded. I gave it a 4th try... I lost that one too another way... since then I just look at this forum and wait for a general change of the mood here... I lost my motivation to start over new again... and unlucky I'm waiting... .
