Ok fellow elites, I'm not new to the game by any means but I'm new to the forums so if I'm not posting this in the right place please let me know. Ok so here's the issue....
Ok so I finally decided to go out into the black and explore more than the core and get Palin unlocked. After several days and finally getting out to nearly 4000 lys, something I can't explain happened. My ship exploded. Can't say why because I don't know. So I've scanned the stars in a trinary star system and everything is going along like normal. Hull temp is sitting at 62% and not increasing as myself and my daughter are checking out this awesome setup. Got a couple great screenshots too. So after chillin there for a couple minutes I go into camera mode. Nothing had changed in hull temp and integrity is at 99%, so why not, right?? I've done this probably 1000 times by now so no biggie. Then without warning.... boom. All that time, data, multiple discovered scans to get my name out there and of course my asp explorer, gone. Why??
Ok I could have hit the thrusters by accident. Entirely possible but unlikely. So here's my complaint..... I'm over losing my ship and all that time and data. Who wouldn't be? Especially when I'm not sure as to the actual reason. My fault? Fine, cuz then I'm just upsetat myself and well that wouldn't be the first time. But in camera mode? Has this happened to anyone else? So here's what I'd like to see. A readout or notification in camera mode when something is amiss on the ship. As stated before, there was no problem the moment I went into camera mode. Could this be a bug of some sort?? I'd still be out there and still scanning had this not happened but I've lost it all and no longer interested in playing the game period and doubtful I will be for some time. Please look into this to make sure others don't have this happen as well. It sucks and as much as I love this game...... this instance truly burnt me out.
