Ah yes, the Normandy. That's how you build emotional attachment to a ship.
Isn't it though? If they'd have ever let us actually fly her, I may have had to kick Joker off the flight deck.![]()

You guys are missing out on some profit. If you're out there long enough, exploring, eventually a canister of Biowaste should "appear" in your cargo bay which you could then sell to agricultural stations. How'd you know?Great way to shed some weight, confuse the enemy and I hear it's murder on vision if a windshield wiper is activated. Cheap too

Yeah so far I haven't found the perfect mix yet. Some games do the first person and ship interiors really well, but have no flight model. Others do the flight really well, but have no first person.
I do have some hope though. Recent games (X Rebirth, Rodina, Pulsar Lost Colony) are all experimenting with this idea. Now, X Rebirth was a mess (not sure if it's better now). The others are still very much in Alpha (or early beta).
Star Citizen may be the first to crack this nut (and I am a backer), but something about SC rubs me the wrong way. Probably it's this: http://www.glassdoor.com/Reviews/Cloud-Imperium-Games-Reviews-E776546.htm
