Nothing wrong with Frontier music, but that's Frontier. Not ELITE (even if it is Elite II) .

Petr Pololanik is extremely skilled and it is a marvelous orchestra - He's also working on the SC music, but I'm sure the SC community would love to share him with us here with ED.

This is fantastic. I remember it from the first time you linked it. Is it available for download?

Also, have you thought about doing a rearrangement of the original classic Elite tune linked in post #5? I would love to hear that played as an orchestra, although the 8 bit synths still hold their own charm to this day

Thanks - I'll make it downloadable for a little while!

No immediate plans to redo the original Elite theme I'm afraid. Rearranging the Frontier theme was the first time I adapted existing music, and although quite fun to do, I found it far less creatively satisfying than composing my own music from scratch.
But who knows!

I sure hope so. I LOVE the Frontier music. Jamie Treacher's orchestral version is just amazing.
