My thought on the new dlc

The dlc is pretty good but would love seen some more pieces in scenery and walls with each country like china. It just could use little bit more stuff other counties like china but other then that it good dlc.

I think he is referring to DLC being downloaded regardless of purchase. Which I thought was the norm for most games as the content has to be installed to allow for blueprints etc to be integrated.

Ah, I don't buy DLC's a lot, only for PC, I was under the impression that DLC's are only downloaded once purchased (hence the name). But maybe this is different for PC.

A lot of other Games do that too. Are you asking them as well?
True, but the other games I have don't take up nearly 3GB for each DLC released... How many DLC's are we going to get? 10? if so 10x3 = 30gb of wasted space for something you don't even want...

Id rather have a game that only downloads the DLC if you bought it instead of forcing you to download it even if you don't want it.

Do the DLCs take up 3GB though as surely part of that update would be including updated versions of previous files? PC from what I can see is around 11GB as it stands.

Go look at the install specs for Red Dead 2 might need up to 150gb to install and run. Some are worried about 3 gb lol sorry for off topic. If your worried about hd space they are dirt cheap go buy a second drive.

I have plenty of space on my PC but I don't think it's right for video game companies to steal our HD space with DLC for those of us who didn't want nor even asked for.. It's just wrong...

Also it wastes bandwidth for those with data limits.

If video game companies installed malware on your PC that ate up your HD space would you be OK with it too? Or would you just put a bigger HD in?

Worrying about harddrive space.........your still in the 90s? (just trolling btw, don't take me seriously)

Anyways, back on topic. The music in this pack is worth the buy alone in my opinion.

I didn't know that Planet Coaster was forcing you to download their dlc packs? I know that I'm not being forced.

Everyone has the DLC content in their game regardless if you bought it. That's why it's in your menus and why you can view parks with DLC that you don't own. So yeah, technically you are forced into it but IMO that's a benefit so you can view parks with DLC.

It's also the first time they actually implemented a mechanism to lock/ hide music from the DLC, meaning that you really have to own the thing to use the tunes. I can for instance use Studio or Vintage music without owning those packs, but the World music doesn't show up in the menu.
