I had not played Elite in some time, before the Beyond update.
Quite a few things in Elite were wrong for me, Board hopping, Using exploits to find surface locations, Mindless Random USS system to name just a few.
So you can Imagine how happy I am that Quite a few of my concerns were addressed in this latest Expansion/Update.
I really like the Quality of life and Game play improvements added in Beyond.
The info of a USS is a great touch.
The Information from Codex and Squadrons.
The FSS and DSS.
Surface object location markers.
New installations in Many many systems with cool little scenarios.
The better WAR system.
To name just a few.
Well done Fdev.
There are quite a few more things that need addressing in regards exploiting, though this was defiantly a move in the right direction.
In today's game world where cheating and exploiting is the norm, its nice to see FDEV finally trying to address the issue of exploitation in Elite.
Lets just hope they dont stop there !
