My thougths. The game is unplayeble atm.

My genneral thougths about Elite:

iv been playing for a 5 days now, well tried, due to all the Disconects, buggs and crashes. ...
My first thougths are just WOW.. This will keep me busy for years. there is always something to do and somewere to go. but keeping inmind that they need to intreduce New items for end game to keep ppl intrested.
My second thougths are Seriusly, you are going to launce the game NeXT month!!!! if this is the case i dont see this game lasting long and wont keep there players.
This is due to the fact that it is just to menny buggs and fixes needed.
They need to make the game far more stabil.
I have a werry good internet conection, but i get Disconected alote.
And when im inside the game again im either shoot to bitts or going to be, as i find myself inside the structure of the station ( i get DC alote when exeiting a station ). or when interdicted, leaving me as cannon fodder.
I could go on and on about buggs.
The main one is when exeting supercruse, its so choppy, sudenly Your in supercruse then out of nowere without enny good anemations u are infront of the station, ( most times ) if not that the game freezzzeeezz and i log in at the station i left last time, repete, and same thing happens..
The grafics are awsome and looking forward to the full game With a hope they fix problems before launce. If not i predict it will go the same way as ESO ( elder scrolls online ) most of the ppl quit within the first month due to a half finished Product.
But a big pluss is that u dont need a monthly sub to play the game witch is a big pluss.
A edition im missing like u had in elite frontier is that u can map a route and press auto pilot. this is a must have for Explorers and other ppl going long distances. looking up star map all the time gets old fast.
I also miss more costumaisation on ships. but i Guess this will come With time..
Ennyways time for me to try to log back into the game. ohh that reminds me..
Issent it soo frustrating taking a contract With short timer on it. trying to forfill it but get DC, and when get back u have no way of compleating it due to disconect. and u are left With fine and it not realy Your fault..
Ennyways hope they fix the bugs couse atm the game is virtualy unplayeble.

Welcome to beta.. FD are fixing bugs.. be patient and go find bugs and ticket them.. do your part mate

I would use solo play for now, it will make the game more stable and make sure you are safe from other players while you learn to fly and fight.

I've been quite lucky and not (to date) experienced any game breaking bugs. It's a bit choppier around planets and stations in supercruise than it has been previously.

I also mainly play in solo mode.

HAHA... it will STILL be Beta in a week. If you want to see the final you need to wait till mid-December... THAT give it a full 2 weeks of playing and see what needs done.

There's an update due within a week. May or may not address the bugs mentioned.

I think there will not be a "final" version of the game for a very long time. The "retail" build that is going to get released in December is likely just a means to generate cashflow so that FD can continue adding features and polishing the game, almost indefinitely.

There are so many post-release-features, and most of them are on such a grand scale that it is almost unimaginable how they are going to do it. Floating around inside your own spaceship, exploring the interior of space stations, landing on and exploring planets and planetary cities/outposts...

Let alone the alien civilizations out there that will be added at some point, too... probably with their own story mission campaigns...

We haven't even seen a blink of what this game is going to be when it continues development. And continue it will, for (hopefully) many years to come.

This is a beta test and the whole point is to look for bugs, report them, so frontier can fix them so the full game works better.

I tried reducing grafics but still same problems exeting hyperdrive / super cruse. sometimes in stuck in an indeffenate loop exeting super cruse, With no end in sigth. relog is the only option, that Places me in the last know station. try again and mostly same result.
I am aware it is a beta, but thinking about how choppy the game is now i Wonder what Magic wand they are gonna wave to fix this prior to realese.
Other Things are getting Dc when undocking, and when reloging i find myself inside the struckture of the station, = BOOM. so hopfully it will be fixed if not there will be alote of posts about bugs that ruin the gameplay so utterly. imagen grinding for credits and then need to spend it all to pay incurance. not a good thing.

I suspect it's your laptop causing much of the issues, your keyboard seems on the blink as well.

Make sure to send in a ticket.

I had endless problems in Beta 2 and must have sent in close to 100 tickets. ALL have been resolved and the game is now running as close to perfect as I could expect.

This is still Beta and OUR last chance to ensure that as many bugs as possible are squashed before release.

And remember a ticket is not a magic bullet, a number of the problems I had in Beta 2 weren't resolved untill Beta 3s release.

Do you play open or solo? Solo is for the most part less buggy. Be sure to ticket all the problems you have. It is afterall why we are here playing a beta.
