My Trex suddenly went on a killing spree...

I didnt play in awhile and visited my game yesterday. I have all islands covered with seperated areas. Raptors, Trex and the giant dinos in one area, Indos in their own little corner and the other plant eaters in another area. Usually all play nice with each other. Ok, raptors and a Trex sometimes clash but just posturing and they went their seperate ways. But not yesterday. The Trex on every island started killing the raptors.

Why?

As a result of the Return to Jurassic Park expansion, Tyrannosaurus rex and Velociraptor no longer tolerate each other.

It's part of the free update that coincided with Return to Jurassic Park, not as a DLC exclusive. It's just a free addition the DLC utilized for its story, just like how certain other free additions in the past utilized certain new free update things for their new big campaigns for whatever purpose. Regardless, as of Patch 1.12, Rexes and Velociraptors are no longer compatible to be together, and it only applies to those two dinosaur species together.

Well, that sux. The space is already so limited. How am I supposed to have big Trex areas AND a place for raptors? I might aswell remove the plant eaters but thats a very one sided park then.

We need more space!

You can still mix other small carnivores with the T.Rexes (Proceratosaurus, Compsognathus, Herrerasaurus, Dilophosaurus, Troodon, and Deinonychus), just not the Velociraptors. This change only applies to Tyrannosaurus rex and Velociraptor, nothing else. The script kill animation sequence change is meant to be a Raptor-Rex interaction only.
