I tried VRlens Labs solution (similar), but having a high prescription, I found the convex mounting had too much barrel distortion and so I sent them back for a refund. They were for Rift and also had a less reliable fit than the Vive solution (they kept coming loose). The other thing was having to take constantly take them out for other users. The last caveat was that when I would take the Rift off or lift it to peak at the keyboard, I found it difficult to see the keyboard.

I took the Rift to the fitting and bought the frames slightly narrower than normal for the desired fit. The arms under the ear guards are a softer metal so I could mold them to wrap around the back of the ear. Result is they work perfectly and now I can see when peeking. They came with a nice clip on set of sunglasses (magnetic). They actually look so good I wear them instead of my original glasses all the time now.
