Community Event / Creation My wallpaper at work! (4k screenshots are awesome)

I have a funky three monitor setup at work, and wanted to style it up a bit while also representing my current obsession (elite).

4k screenshots really make this work nicely! Though, it's still upscaled a bit. Is it possible to force the game into even HIGHER resolutions, for the purposes of screenshotting? Can one just set an arbitrary resolution? Set it to 6k or something?

if you are playing in 4k Alt+F10 up-scales it to 16k IIRC

Does it upscale? or does it actually render the frame in 16k? That would be amaaaazing.

is that how people get screenshots "without the hud"? they basically just capture in ultra high res and crop out the hud?

I'm pretty sure that it would render in 16k.

The "without the hud" screenshots are taken in a Sidewinder and looking up through the roof window.
