My worry about gameplay.....

Our ships will darken the skies, and when darkness falls your doom shall follow. You should be afraid.

very afraid. ;)

That's a challenge!

Players versus Devs battle in Alpha testing! ;)

Will laugh my socks off if they get beaten considering all the practice they will have had. Mike Evans being the prime target for being in charge of the flight model :)

I feel a heated alpha is looming... :D

One can imagine news reports on why FD's share price plunged:

"Roughly one year after a successful Kickstarter campaign, launch of Frontier Development's Elite: Dangerous game has been delayed following unsatisfactory alpha-testing, whereby none of the famed 'Kickstarter community' provided any constructive feedback due to their gaming sessions not lasting longer than 15 seconds.

Alien, a backer of the game, claimed "They hardly gave us a chance - just as my Sidewinder exited Lave Station I was immediately greeted with a barrage of missiles, and the short message 'That's for making us wade through so much DDF feedback!!!'" Allien was particular put out by this, proclaiming not to have even had access to the DDF.

Relations between fans and Frontier Developments remain delicate, with one fan promising to destroy the Rock."

Meanwhile, rumour has it that a group of rogue official writers have managed to secure access to an undocumented API and are, as we speak, inserting clichés and appalling NPC dialogue into the game.

Striking from a hidden Imperial Battleship known as the Onomatopoeia, they are reputed to be Elite and extremely Dangerous.

Cheers,

Drew.

flinging bodies eh? ... I volunteer Psykokow's body ... may need a few of us to fling it though :D

OI!!!!!!! Leave Me, I'd float into them....

I just hope they don't make it possible to fly into your own missiles... or that will be the cause of my death for sure!!!

No worries mate

Hi everyone,

Am I the only one here that is worried about getting fragged to bits by David and the entire Frontier Team? I mean they will all have a massive advantage over us noobs when the game is released! Could be they gang up on us as we emerge in the Lave system or so?

Or am I not being paranoid enough???.

Hehe! Just a bit of fun!

Not sure that'll worry those who have randomized start points, though I suppose it's always possible that the devs could f some some people over with a bit of back-door access.
