Mystery of the disappearing mission.

So, as the attached pic shows, I picked up a very lucrative mission to kill over 30 pirates in the Procyon system. I got just over 1/3rd of the way into my goal but, when I went looking for the mission tonight, it was *gone*. I didn't fail the mission, it literally just vanished.

Has anyone else seen this, & can they explain *why* it happens?

I can confirm (I guess). Recently I took a lot of those long missions and I swear some have disappeared. Cant say for sure and which, as I gathered 10 or more of those. Please ticket it.
