Parks Naboo-City of Theed

Naboo City of Theed, at the Steam Workshop

Hi peeps, long not been on this forum or on this game. But I had some time last week and started a new project, just caus' I always found that particular planet gorgeous. Inspired from the historical capital of Naboo, Theed, I'm making a city-wide park, reserving some space in the plains underneath for coasters and bigger attractions. I took lots of liberties with the plan of the city, and it's lacking lots and lots of turrets, towers, and domes for now, but here's a first series of shots, centered on the palace and the main avenue, the two first attractions and an attempt at a Naboo Fighter (Yeah, okay, I suck at spacecrafts, not my thing, really...)

Very Inspired by various creations I've seen in the last few days, involving creative usage of the new screens and flags, I decided to get a restaurant, with view on the river Solleu

Visiting your workshop right now : man, I need those domes you used, they are so nice. And I love the ride station!

Yeah, I understand what you mean by the "heavy stone look". I struggled, at first, then I decided to, first of all, give it a lighter tone : not too pinkish, but rather a warm light gray/beige. The trick was to mix futuristic glassfiber stuff with rather classical columns and walls. Lots, and lots, and looooots of columns, to give it a really light and etherial feel.
