This, it's a shame but it's for the best, you know how pathetic and immature some people can be when naming things.

They need to rename some of these systems, how can a system with a population of millions call themselves HID-2204 Ba?
whilst that is one reason, the bigger reason is that some folks paid large amounts of folding green things for naming rights during the kick starter.FD would have to come up with a pricing structure that did not really annoy those kick starter backers.This has been suggested before. I would call my planet "Earth-like" just to confuse people. Seriously though, because its based on the actual Milkyway galaxy, I don't think FD want to name them.
