Newcomer / Intro NAME CHANGING???

Hi, CMDRS. I recently viewed a "YOUTUBE" comment on showing you how to change your name. On trying to do this I've found the option for this in your "PROFILE" is no longer there. Was this ever available? or was this a 1.0 beta option? And more importantly, is this still available? As all I can read on the subject so far, is you need to start again!!!!!!!!!

On a lighter note, I've found out that I can use my booster button when moving side wards, which is GREAT!!!!!!! for moving out of the line of fire, and also to lock onto a BAD GUY while they pass you in a dual!!!! lol...... Thanks for reading.

AFAIK the only way to change it now is to wipe your save and start all over again. Shame.

The name change option was removed in late beta. I presume it was to prevent cheaters/griefers and the like constantly changing their name to avoid being reported or something like that. You could open a ticket and see if support can get it changed for you.

Thanks, That sounds a good idea. At least if they check on my credit rating, the worse that can happen is they'll fall off there chairs with laughter..
