Name with underscore change

Hi my ingame Commander name is currently REPLICATOR_
There is a Commander with the name REPLICATOR but as far as I can determine he no longer plays the game
Could I have my name changed to REPLICATOR please?

You need to raise a support ticket to make that request. ( https://support.frontier.co.uk/kb/ )

I have to warn you though that there is probably zero chance of it being allowed - I couldn't even swap the commander names between two of my own accounts - support said that they could not do it and that once a commander name was assigned to an account then it would stay locked there forever.

There are limited cases where support will change CMDR names but cases like that raised by the OP (or your name swap case) are unlikely to be catered for.

The best they can hope for is to perhaps request a one-off CMDR name change to eliminate the apparently undesired underscore.

... but the OP's point was that there was already a commander REPLICATOR (no underscore) hence my remark that commander names once applied to an account are locked-in forever.

No harm in asking but I wanted to forewarn the OP.

They will just have to pick another name, either along the same lines or completely different - that was ultimately my point. If your desired name conflicts with that assigned to an existing account (active or not) - ultimately it is a case of tough luck, will just have to choose a different name.
