Names. Do you change them? How do you pick them? And the benefits on changing.

Since I got my first Leucistic in my peafowls I have been switching back and forth between spooky names (since the achievement for breeding it is called Ghost) for white birds and the music theme I had been doing for a while. My flamingos are all tropical fruit and my cheetahs are named after art techniques (Stippled my Leucistic male I just got off the market and Inked the normal female), etc, etc. There is a lot of different name patterns out there.

The only animals I renamed were rhinos. I had a female who had a very cute baby, and I named her Poppet. She took over the breeding once her mum died. She went on to have many babies but the one I kept, I named Sweetie (sad i know lol)

Thought I'd add because of Tortise challange. I like to name them after engine sounds: Vroom (male) Vavoom (female) or cars.. Ferrari.

I never named any of mine simply because of how quickly they grew up and died , I can now slow down their ageing but not sure i want to think up 200 odd animals names

Mr Tall, Mr Longneck and associated names for my giraffes. Their mates are Mrs whatever.

Zebras - Mr Stripy, Mr Zeebs

Grizzly Bear - Mr G

All names are similar to the Animal they are.

My fully trained, only researching vet is called "Mr Researcher".

My no-work-zone janitors are called "Roaming 1", "Roaming 2", "Roaming 3"...

I named my lemurs after the Witcher characters, my lions after Harry Potter ones, my elephants after LotR ones and so on.

Makes it easier for me to remember who is who because I got the same names for different animals.
