The 13th Legion was performing peace-keeping combat air patrols in the Hudson capitol of Nanomam yesterday when terrorist forces besieged the Imperial heroes. The 13th Legion, the premier combat wing of the Empire, is one of the few squadrons in the Galaxy to wage open war with the numerous and powerful terrorist organizations.
The terrorists in Nanomam were members of the Dark Legion, a splinter faction of former 13th Legion pilots who betrayed the Empire in their lust for credits and power. For 13th Legion recruit CMDR Aode Ward, it was his first engagement with such expertly-trained terrorists.
"I could tell these terrorists were former Imperial military by their tactics and bravery," Aode said. "Most terrorist groups are cowards who only attack when they heavily outnumber their opponents, but not these guys. We had them outnumbered 5 to 3 and they fought with no fear. I've never seen anything like it."
Despite the ferocity of their attackers, the 13th Legion held firm, scoring 5-6 terrorist kills with no losses.
Legendary 13th Legion Cobra pilot, CMDR Kuyu, had this to say:
"The Dark Legion is a dangerous group, but they can't hang with the 13th Legion on equal footing, much less when outnumbered. We will continue our offensive against the Federation as well as all terrorist organizations to keep the Empire safe."
