Narcotics: Don't sell on the black market?

So I have a load of narcotics, yet I can't seem to find anywhere to sell them. I thought I would just be able to sell them on the black market but if I go in and say I have illegal goods, it tells me I don't have anything to sell :/

edit - - yes, there are listed as illegal in my ships inventory.

did you buy them, or did you get them through a mission, which you failed? if you failed the mission, you need to abandon/discard it, before you can sell your (illegal, stolen) narcotics via black market.

if not, its a bug. log off, log in, if it doesn't help, file a ticket.

Also they aren't illegal/black market goods everywhere.... you can just sell them on the open commodities market.

I was at a station where I saw them reasonably cheap, so I bought a load thinking I could sell them on the black market at a place they were illegal.

Nope. No bananas for that one. The only place I ended up offloading them was at a station where they were legal.

The black market seems to be only for stolen goods, not illicit goods. If this is the case, how do we get the achieve for selling illegal goods? :/

this would be a bug. please file a ticket or set up a bug-report in the subforum. illegal goods can be sold via black market.

I just did another test and it worked fine.

I'm guessing that first black market may have been at a station where they were legal. There wasn't a market to have a look at.

Even though the system is supposedly under whatever governance, the station itself may have been under one of the others maybe :/

Lately ive been selling Narcotic in systems with the 'Lockdown' status in effect. There would be type 9's in a location called 'seeking goods' and them boys would buy the narcotics off me for 1300 Cr per ton profit.
