Yes, it would be so cool to have effects like this in the game. Not sure how realistic that is, but we can dream.

I think Solar looks, flares and effects are one of the most important as we all have a very good level of understanding (or perceived...) about our own sun and I think it would be a real shame if Suns were just floating balls of light.

I equally hope that Solar Radiation makes it virtually impossible to fly too close, or at least exceptionally dangerous (should star scooping be possible ).

Thx - did not know there was such a section - but now I do.

A (dumb) thought for the realism of the game - have a heater near you activated by servo's etc - and if you fly too close to a sun - the servos activate - dragging the heater closer to your playing chair so you really feel the heat.

Very nice video. grandiose landscapes to the image of sun. I imagine in ED, identical to this video. It would be impressive. And even more impressive for stellar systems, with double stars. It would be an enormous visual shock when we are approaching VY Canis Majoris
