I bet it's more accurate than local weather reports.
Very interesting.
This is like NASA, in July, 50 years ago. The average person, has to believe; that this is real. They have no way of proving or disproving that we are getting the facts, or just the latest billion dollar NASA advertising campaign. Logically it has to be real; it is not like the 60s, when the whole world had to rely on British made space tracking dishes and systems; to tell them that the crafts, are up there. Now any back yard star gazer can see what's going on.
The big shout about the weather on Mars, is a bit exaggerated already. It measures the weather around itself. Who knows what is going on 100kms away? It could even have an influence on its local environment, due to the atmosphere being so thin. The movement alone can be a factor and along with the heat; rising from solar panels, all kinds of things could be happening.
Something well worth watching in the future, lets hope that it does as well as the one that just shut down.
