National Black Cat Day (yet another cockpit cat thread)...

The internet informs me that October 27th is Black Cat Appreciation Day in the UK and I know that many of us have furry little co-pilots.

So I was curious how many of us have cockpit panthers (Tuxedo Cats also count) that like to fly around space with us on our adventures?

This is my First Mate Irusán. He like to ride shotgun and occasionally act as my navigator but mostly likes to sleep wedged in between me and the arm of the chair.

And when I'm in a heavy combat situation there's a little basket next to my pilot seat under my comms panel for him and his sister Palu to relax in.

Interesting but sad statistic, black cats in rescue shelters on average take 7 days longer to find a home than other breeds or colours.
Mine had been waiting for 3 months before I came along and they were only 7 months old at the time.

I have a black cat on my lap right now. She was in a shelter 18 months before we took her in.

Whilst she occasionally takes an interest on what's happening on screen, she's usually more interested in finding a quiet spot for a snooze.

We've had her 6 years now and she's be getting gradually browner each year...
