NAV beacon in LHS 3447....

LHS 3447 is a twin-star system, then why is the beacon not placed near LHS 3447 the star where most stations orbit, but nera Gliese 748.2B? That awful, over 200k LS travel between two stars is utterly painful!

Especially that is one of the frequent spawning systems!

One of the bigger misconceptions seems to be that Nav Beacons have something to do with hyperdrive travel. They don't. The hyperdrive locks onto the largest mass in the system.

The Nav Beacon is always placed at the primary star in the system, not where it's most convenient.

There's one station not too far from you that has a 600LS flight from warp in to the first station.

Surprise, space is big.
