Nav beacon - what is it for?

As the title says: nav beacon - what is it for?

I tried to figure out. I searched the forum but I've found only they are cool because of pirating and bounty hunting.
In the game manual mentioned only once and there is no description what is it for.

So please somebody tell me why is nav beacons are cool for traders?

Everyone (else) hyperspaces into the Nav Beacon point when entering a star system. It's how FSD navigation works.

By default I think humans should also use it but we don't for some reason. Probably to stop camping and griefing.

You can look for wanted npc`s at the nav beacons and hunt em for some nice bounty.
