Nav Beacons and Security Vessels

I've been using Nav Beacons as a great way to rank up in Combat status, make some cash and improve relations with the faction that owns the system you're fighting in (cleaning up the space ways!). This is a lot of fun and has made me mucho diniro :D.

One thing that seems a bit odd though is the way security vessels act. Even if you do not attack them (either accidentally or on purpose) they eventually turn hostile and start to attack you. I can understand this if you are wanted or have illegal cargo but it's happened to me every time I'm in a Nav Beacon instance. I'm now friendly with the Federation but even they eventually turn hostile and start to attack instead of helping out with the fights.. The biggest problem with this is you cannot fight back without getting a fine and a hit on your rep with the faction :(

I wonder if they're simply getting bored and want a challenging fight :S. I would like to suggest that they are made to act responsibly and not pick fights with law abiding citizens. Who's with me?

local security vessels will attack you if you attack a wanted NPC that belongs to the same faction that the security vessels belong to

This isn't the first thread on the topic.

That seems a bit too simplistic. if they're wanted in the system you're in then the security vessels should be after them as well. Why should the security vessels care whether you take out a wanted indivudual even if he is of the same faction? If I'm friendly with the faction if I'm wanted then they will attack me. Doesn't seem realistic to me.
