Is it normal to get almost exclusively planetary scan missions for your naval progression missions? I have up to 12 naval missions at some stations with every one of them being planetary scan missions. Very rarely do I see any other type.

Right now i am stuck at ensign.. i want the Corvette bad. Is there a faster way to get the rank. I have been doing missions and throwing money at donations for rep and i get 1% or 3% increase per thing. This will be a long ass grind to get to Admiral for my Vette. Ugghhh! Are there any places to stack missions going to one place. Not looking for easy way out just a little less grind would be nice.
Man, I'd have loved to have got planetary scan missions instead of beer deliveries.
