naval progression 1.1

Anyone else having major issues receiving naval progression missions or getting your invitataions to go away. I'm pretty sure the problem is hand in hand. I've put in a support ticket and as usual haven't heard anything back. I've been allied with the federation since I started playing for doing bounty missions as well as others to increase rep with the stations (which is permanent stuck at 99%). But i started working on my empire rep to get my clipper which took me about 4 days to get. I've been doing the same thing now since 1.1 dropped as I did with the empire and can't get ANY progression missions to drop. I'm pretty sure this was supposed to be fixed.

ive ranked 3 times in 2 days so works fine

go to a cluster of fed systems and look at what it wants to be delivered fill your hold and as they pop complete em...you can do multiple systems at once this way

I'm not an expert, but I've noticed that naval missions seems to not appear unless I am actively doing missions for a Federation/Empire faction. I start doing the missions for the local faction, and the naval missions pop up.

I've gone from nothing to Baron withing the Empire navy since 1.1, so doesn't look like anything is broken here.

I do have a suspicion that you need to be improving some local faction in order to get the missions, i.e. you need to go elsewhere if your rep is already maxed. Someone will correct me if I'm completely wrong here, I hope

None of us really know how rank progression works. Just educated guesses.
im having the same issue as is my friend.
It seems to be like watching a pot of water boil. If you pay attention it won't.

I'll correct you because I believe you are wrong. I was running a lucrative Empire cargo route between two systems I had Allied status with. I continued to take faction missions only for those Empire aligned factions, though I was only taking "donation" missions (where you give them things they need w/o pay) or paid "need cargo" missions that were easy to do. I was Lord status, and I constantly had the Summerland permit mission in my "unavailable" list having already had it. After about the 7th or 8th loop, the Naval Progression mission popped for Baron. Thus, I'm pretty certain even though the local factions were mostly maxxed for me, I was still earning points with the "Empire" and thus, got it to pop.

Side note though, it took a good while for it to pop me a progression mission after getting Lord.

For some reason, this did not alleviate my suspicions, probably because of your word "mostly".

You could be right. Still, there's no harm in moving to another system for doing missions if the "allied" status bar seems to be pretty full when you see the results of a turn-in.

I had more than a week long drought on the fed side but since last night I have got 5 ranks and am now Post commander, I did Empire pre 1.1

The higher ranks require more mission completions to achieve rank. This is a fact. I maxed out Empire and Navy ranks within a few days. Now working on Federation, and I went from Unfriendly to Friendly VERY fast by simple trading at stations. So as I see it, everything works just fine.
