Naval Rank Progression Missions ?

Is this a known problem ? I am not being offered a single Federation Naval Rank progression mission .. which makes getting system permits impossible ..

It's a known problem since this forum was written in cuneiforms. The good news are that you won't lose that much if you don't get system permits.

Ah thanks for that .. interesting read .. I was starting to assume it was because I want nothing to do with Power Play ...

So far I have found permits to be virtually useless. The only exceptions being the ability to tour our own solar system via the Sol permit and the Vega permit to access the "Slimweed" rare commodity.

My other complaint is that as an Admiral I don't ever receive my 17-gun salute on entering harbour.
