Naval ranks are finally working!

I just did an ascension mission to be promoted to Serf & it actually works. I could never get them to work before but I guess FD finally fixed them.

& I just did another & I'm now a Master. Not sure why I'm bothering though, since I'm way past wanting the Clipper. I'm happy enough trading in my Type 9.

You can buy the Courier as a nice little toy for your hangar when you get to Knight. :D

unfortunately for me, naval ascension mission has stop appearing for me since last patch. It is not even appearing on the unavailable list like before. Now trading through empire space while waiting out for a mission.

Likewise; I enjoy a nice bit of mission running, touring along a path of new systems as I go. I got an ascension mission just after returning from the black a couple of weeks ago but despite completing forty or more missions since RNGesus has yet to smile on me.

It is a shame really, all I want is to pilot the faction specific ships, yet it is now something that is dependent on RNG.

Yeah, stripped down it has a pretty nice jump range and fitted for combat you can get a shield strength which matches the Vulture and the Python. It's more of an improvement on the Viper though.

Not working for me, have been playing the game quite solidly for the past week and not had one of the ranking missions drop since 1.3/got allied with empire/got Marquis rank.

You do know that the higher the ranks, the longer it takes to have new missions right?

I've gone from Vulture to Python and from low % Master to 37% Dangerous and only had one promotion opportunity since the 1.3 patch. That was exclusively working for empire. :-( Maybe it needs a tweak to prevent the Clipper being an orphan ship.

I've done about a dozen Naval Ascension Opportunity missions without a promotion. Could be I'm misunderstanding, but it seems like that mission type should result in promotion upon turning it in.

More than 500 here, guys. No single trace of ascension missions. Just put Your soul in peace: if you're in The unlucky list of CMDRs with this bug, you'll never see Any ascension mission. Never. DEVs don't consider this bug...after thousands post and ticket here I simply surreneder and doin other things. Follow my advice...Don't waste Your time anymore, it's useless
