Navigating Beyond Barnard's Loop

Good evening Commanders!

I was wondering whether anyone has come advice with regards to navigating the locked sectors beyond Barnard's Loop, namely COL 70, I obviously don't want to accidentally stumble into the Thargoid War Machine...

I am heading out to the Seagull and Rosette Nebulae and didn't expect to run into this issue, I knew about the locks that a rumoured to be associated with the Thargoids but had no idea they were in this particular region of space, I simply assumed they were in the Pleiades, around Merope.

I'm currently in the MESSIER 78 SECTOR with a Jump Range of a little over 32ly, any help would be appreciated!

Been jumping around all over that area the last couple of weeks, if the system is locked you can't get into it so you can't accidently stumble into a war machine at the moment, and if the system is unlocked there's never anyone around, I run an unarmed T6 explorer by the way, so if there was anything nasty there I would know :D

The only issue travelling is needing a decent jump range and fuel tank, once you get into the middle of the locked systems you can hit a lot of non-scoopable stars in a row, or if your jump range is to short you end up detouring out the woozaa to get through, min 30ly jump range, which most people should be able to manage, and just keep an eye on fuel levels, it would be to easy to get into somewhere you don't have the fuel to get out of. I see you have 32ly jump range so you will be fine.
