Newcomer / Intro Navigation screen

Not sure where the best place to post this, but I need some help.

Up to the update for the launcher I was able to use the navigation screen to pick out different systems using the population and economy selection menus. Since the updating the launcher I am now not able to get the navigation screen to sort out the differing systems, economies, allegiances, government types or even trade routes.

Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Any comments would be helpful

I'm having problems with navigation as well. I can't seem to get it to route. I never liked the routing system, I can't tell whether its just taking a while, or nothing is happening. There is no confirmation that it is working. I seem to be stuck out by tenche. I sold all my cargo and it won't even route to systems as close as 20 ly. I'm so lost and I need to leave this system but no attempt at routing is working. And I've tried jumping to the few systems I can with no luck. I'm really frustrated.

Yeah i have issues since last update to.
Namely it picks economic raute no matter what.
Sometimes it gives me 4 jumps raute for systems i could reach in one jump.

Hi Thebharbarian,
my routing system is working. Highlight the system u want yo go to, either by typing in the name or using the selection icon. Then I press the route button. For dome systems it. Takes a while as it looks at the routes available. If it was still struggling then I would pick a system about half way and try again.
This for me has worked so far, and I eventually get where I need to be.
howeverstill having problems with the system filters.
