Newcomer / Intro Navigationo

anyone care to explain navigation.

tried to make jumps and either it wont come out of the jump or i run into a star.....

please any advice would greatly be appreciated

Define run into a star. You jump right at it and lose shields or do you get close to the star when you jump? The last one is normal.

What your asking is the reason the flight tutorial exists, I suggest you use it. When you jump to a new star you have plenty of time to steer away from it. You can also drop your throttle mid-jump to come out of it much slower and therefore turn away from the star easier.

Guys i cant even get to a station. I never can find it after i jump.

Right now i have been jumping for 5 min stright and no exit in sight

thinking it was a waste of 60$

↑ this. Seriously.
You should give us more information but if I should guess:
You're in Frameshift Drive towards a station? It's targeted? If 'yes' so far, cut your throttle into the zone indicated by the blue marker
(you know how to do this, right? What I'm talking about?) when your ETA is about 7 seconds. You should come into exit-jump range (less than 1000km)
with the right speed quite automatically

ok i am gona repost and be calm

i realize there is a learning curve to everything..but dangit wth

i can never find the location after i jump or i end up with a face full of planet

i have been on game for 6 hours and only made one trade and died at leaset 10 times...

i really need some input on what the heck i gota do to get a start.....i am by no means an idiot but dear lord.....what does it take.......

I *think* what you're missing is the fact that traveling is not an automatic thing.
The jump will not not spit you out in front of a station - you'll have to 1) manually slow down
your approach until you're in range (again: 1000km or less) and then 2) press j (<-default) to exit the jump.

If you cannot find a station once you jumped into a system you proberly haven't read the manual to the game and you proberly haven't tried looking at your left side panel where you start looking for at tarket destination(a station) here in the left panel you also later will have to "Request landing" once you get to a station...

But seriusly you need to get out of the game and into the tourial-mission to learn the very basics manouvers of the game whitch it seems like you haven't figured out yet, those tourials missions exist for a reason so finish at least the first 4-5 of them multible times to get the hang of basic skills then this thread sould be of no interest to you ever again...

You didn't answer the most important question: have you gone through the tutorials?!? Especially the FLIGHT (travel) tutorial??
