Navy interdictions

I've spent a few hours recently in war zones looking for HGE's (the results of which are commented on here https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...-Nonexistent?p=6502773&viewfull=1#post6502773) and as such I've been interdicted by security ships for "scans"... Except, that no scanning takes place, if you stop your ship, they will lazily fly by like they are out on a drive after Sunday services. I couldn't make out if they waved as they cruised by but nary a word on the comms. No hello, goodbye, go to hell, nothing.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away... Actually, it was this one but maybe it was in a system far away? Anyway, you'd get scanned by them, quite aggressively if you tried to avoid them. But, not anymore... Why?

It seems to me you should be scanned, if you're wanted or carrying illegal goods, action should be taken. If it's illegal goods, you should be made to dump them and a fine incurred. If you try to run without submitting, a bounty should be placed on you. These should be kept track of and, if you've been very bad and very sloppy, you should get an interstellar bounty with the appropriate super power and notoriety.

Put the DANGEROUS back into smuggling... You know, the second word in the title of the game...

Currently, smuggling means you simply boost into the slot at over 300... Not very difficult or engaging in the terms of game play.

Unfortunately it's been like this for as long as 'Naval Interdictions' have existed. Way back in the Lugh conflict, you could be smuggling battle weapons for Crimson State and you would just laugh if the Federation Navy interdicted you.
