Can anyone identify this nebula for me please

Looks like Barnard's loop from the side...not sure. Are you in civilization space?

+1 for Barnard's. The higher nebula could be Witch Head, then there's the Flame Nebula slightly above and the Horsehead standing out in its middle. You don't get that angle from civilized space though.

Well outside, south of Ghost of Jupiter, it just caught my eye whilst scanning a system.

Yep, that's definitely how Barnard looks from there.
