Need a good gaming desk

Ok Guys I need help I really want to get a new desk but I can't find anything around that would work. These are the things I have or will buy in the future. Any help would be greatly appreciated don't know if it matters but I am in the U.S.

1. 27" Monitor (1) (2560x1440) Possibly getting two more.
2. Sateik X55 Rhino H.O.T.A.S. (need a place to mount them)
3. Normal 2.1 Speaker system
4. Track I.R.
5. Mouse & Keyboard for work and other games.
6. Headseat for when I am online with friends
7. wide so my chair can go under it comfortably with my PC under the desk.
8. Something clean look and sturdy not flimsy and cheap.

Yeah I had to google for one. Found many US companies that make similar ones.

Though I am not in the market. I am thinking of making one using the iSemble then go get the wood I want. :)

I have a very simple Ikea table : a simple rectangle top, with four legs. It does the trick perfectly, it fits my Hotas, keyboard, mouse, Belkin Nostromo n52, two headsets, two speakers, a two octave music keyboard, an external sound card, and a 22' screen with TrackIR, with the computer and rudder pedals under the desk. It's all black and looks fine. Been using it for two years and it shows no sign of wear. And it's cheap, too.

The simpler the desk, the more stuff you can put on it. :) Racks and stuff just waste space. While a nice chair is important, I wouldn't spend anything more on a fancy desk.

I've got this one from Ikea.

You can get a second monitor on their, but I am not sure about a third.

Sorry for the dark picture, new camera (also I have no idea how to scale the damn thing!):

Why don't you make your own? It's not really rocket science and nothing beats a custom desk tailored to your needs.

Get some wood, screws, a jigsaw and a drill.

PS: and it's also usually cheaper.

Ikea used to do a desk called the 'Jerker'. They didn't cost much and were much loved by computer hackers and musicians. You could keep extending the desk with accessories including shelves, drawers and pull out bits. You could cover them in 21" CRT monitors and just add more shelves.

There used to be a Jerker shrine website dedicated to the pictures of Jerkers in the wild. If you can find one on ebay they are the finest piece of Ikea furniture ever made. There is a facebook "bring back the Jerker" campaign. I have a Jerker, I'm using it right now. I play Elite Dangerous from a Jerker - Love that Jerker!

Behold the CRTs (not my Jerker, some picture I found)

This is the one I use as my main gaming desk, the people in the link only ship in the UK. But its a standard office desk, so would be available anywhere from an office supplies business.

Its quite large 72" wide and 32" deep, standard height. Takes most of my main gaming items, inc the 42" & 24" monitors, tower, keyboards, HDD's etc.

Maybe worth looking at if you have the space for it.

i don't miss my old 19" CRT :)

I had an old windows PC 3.0 I think with the biggest CRT monitor known to man and it wasn't the screen size either but putting those floppy disks in to play silent hunter :)

I find "proper" computer desks to be unsuitable, with their slide out tray for the keyboard that often can't fit a mouse next to it and restricts you if you need a higher chair, or the monitor shelf that won't take a 32" TV, so I have a basic Ikea table (which unfortunately they don't seem to do anymore).
Gives me plenty of space for the keyboard, mouse, joystick, TV and printer, with loads of leg room and a couple of drawers.
