Need a second opinion - are these Herbig flares unusual?

This might just be space madness, but I imagine that the solar flares (or really coronal loops) on this Herbig star are larger and more violent than usual...

AeBe's seems to have gotten a brightness and J.J. Abrams effect (lens flares and all that) boost in 2.3. All stars does seem to have gotten bigger eruptions since the last update.

Yeah, Herbigs usually appear fairly silent, although that could simply be due to them being rather small. Yours is a bit bigger one than I'm used to though. In my experience, if you stay long enough at stars, you might see some impressively large flares - but this is only anecdotal "evidence".
