I started my evening hunting some pirates at kremainn after losing my asp. It was fun but then I wanted to see what was this fuzz at Embyom (the place with the community goal). I came there and saw lots players. Cool, I though, but I have seen many players before at some famous luxury goods sites. But this time i wanted to do something different. Then I thought that what happens if I join a Low Energy FSD. On my first try i See 2 commanders. I try scanning with kws the python but i accidentally shoot. I quickly say sorry. start scanning again. Oh dear, the python stops cargo scooping and starts firing. I see the name, Derath... Then I remembmber these forums. Derath the guy with 26mil cr bounty!!. After I reailsize who he is I turn the ship and try to escape and apologize again
I barely to mange to escape with my eagle.
I barely made it alive. But that encounter made me thinking, why should lonely traders just give cargo to pirates. I go to station and start selling my great eagle service. I spent 30 min shouting other people about my service. Because my bad copy&paste slogan, people thought I was needing of the service. But it was still fun to shout other people about my wingman service. Everyone thought I was joking.
After awhile somebody responded. He was laughing at me and wondered why I offer these services to a pirate. Then I realize that he has wanted status but I thought "well, I didnt specify that who should have my services". After small chat I agree to protect this pirate from local feds Every Low energy fsd that I managed to follow him and escort him, I would have 2t on palladium.
I thought that this will be awesome, escort a pirate agaisnt the feds Sounds more easy than done. Even though I followed my client, I wasnt able to follow him to the LE FSD place. I really wanted to interact with people. Even as semi neutral. Every time I tried to follow him, I came to empty place.
I really like the community goal systems. It really brings lots of people together. Lots of stuff can happen there! But I was still pretty disappointed that I could help my client It was so hard to follow him and when I found him fighting, I could barely join his "server".
After 4 hours of following him at 4am my time I managed to join his instance. But we didnt come at the same time. Even that I followed him, I was there first. I managed to convince a bounty hunter that I was also a fellow bounty hunter I saw my client to show there. he attacked the asp and I started to defend my client. Fiirst I helped to take out the shield of the asp. But then came a cmndr bounthy hunter which I attacked immeadiately because I had to protect my client. Unfortunately I lost my eagle almost instantly and my client had to survive alone.
I had lots of fun offering my services even though giving it is very hard currently
Tl;dr Had lots of fun with Elite, when trying to engage with other people. But interacting with other people is still very hard. Still very immersive game and awesome.
p.s Class 1 seeker missiles could have more ammo
