Need help diagnosing a graphics issue

Hello Commanders, I have run into an interesting conundrum. I have recently upgraded my graphics card in my system, went from an AMD Radeon RX 570 to an XFX Radeon RX 6600. I have noticed that the orbit lines are choppy and not smooth when I face them at either parallel or perpendicular angles. I haven't changed any of my in game settings, and have Anti Aliasing set to SMAA and yet they are still choppy. Do I need to check my settings on my Graphics card software or is there an in game setting I am missing? Pictures for reference, if need be I can post my graphical settings.

It's a know issue with RX6000 and 7000 series of AMD Radeon Cards

It is an old bug...

... but doesn't exist on my RX 7900 XTX for a couple of driver updates, I'd assumed everyone would have the same benefit, I am wrong, obviously!

(Even EDO in VR is fine, with the 'folded planets' issue gone since the last but one driver update)

You might try deleting the Graphis folder and resetting your gfx settings in-game.

I assume you re-installed your GPU drivers.

Yes, one should better do that to minimize problems. Sadly neither doesn't help with those borked orbit lines with the AMD RX6xxx series...
🤷‍♂️

first, check in graphic options and disable checkerboard if it's active
if not... if your card is overclocked, try dropping the frequencies and see if it's ok

ultimately, you can revert to the previous nvidia drivers and see if it's resolved
