So I've been trying to search high and low for a solution and have found nothing, I can't find anyone else with my issue, what my problem is, is I'm wanting to use Reshade, I installed it correctly, the way I was told, direct it to
Steam\steamapps\common\Elite Dangerous\Products\elite-dangerous-64\EliteDangerous64.exe
As I was instructed.
I chose DirectX10+ as well as instructed then got all the things downloaded
But when I launch the game, it more often then not, just sits and hangs on the initial blackscreen, I see the Steam popup and nothing else happens, I had it installed a while ago and it worked, and only sometimes had to kill Elite, but recently, it's become a real hassle to get Elite to launch with Reshade, I tried turning off the GeForce Experience overlay things as well but it still has trouble launching, I've even let it sit for a while but nothing happens, I uninstall Reshade and Elite launches perfectly fine, I've updated my drivers and I tried using the most recent version of Reshade 3.0.8, old version was 3.0.7, still not working.
I'm using Elite Dangerous on a 64bit OS, with Horizons and playing the Steam Version.
Using 16GB of RAM, Intel i7, and a 4GB VRAM GTX960.
Yes I can play without Reshade, but Elite looks very bland and grey without it, and I'm making this post in hopes to see if anyone can help me, as I seem to be the only person with this issue.
