Need help finding anomolies

OK, I admit I am fairly new to *real* exploration, but I seem to have hit a snag wrt finding the Q & P type anomalies. There was a reported Q-type anomaly that I decided to go looking for &, though I found a lot of other cool things in that system (like a proto-Lagrange cloud), I have yet to find a Q-Type anomaly. Where on the spectrum can I expect to find these anomalies?
