Newcomer / Intro Need help finding some combat!

I'm in LHS 3447 (Oleskiw Station).

Hoping someone can inform me the best way to learn about where to go to jump into a warzone... I heard the following places would be good but they are all out of reach for me..

HIP 22500

There is a bit of a nasty mess brewing in Empire Space, so if you head over there, then check the Galnet News feed you will get hints at which systems something is going down in. I know it's a bit of a trek, but it may be worth it in the coming weeks.

If you want to fight now, then you only have pirates to combat. Buy yourself a ton of gold or palladium and head over to your nearest mining extraction point. You will soon rack up 100k for a couple of hours.
