Ships Need help for Federal Corvette PVP build

So i'm looking for a new super-engineered Corvette PVP build, i don't really know what the current meta and i need a ship able to kill people in PVP while not running of ammo instantly in PVE, i need a mostly PVP build to not feel helpless against a pirate or a player from an enemy faction.
I have more than enough money to buy everything i need but i don't know where to start, can you help me ?

I'll be swapping most of the modules to put on a new anti-AX cutter soon, so i don't mind throwing any of my engineered modules in the trash.

So what's the current Vette PVP meta for people who don't like reload after every fights ?

I'll also be keeping a fighter hangar (probably size 2, so 6D minimum) because i like the annoyance capabilities of little fighters and the extra DPS and a Point Defense (has always been useful for me in every fights because i can't be torped or my modules sniped with rockets/missiles).
All the rest of the modules are subject to change, i don't mind the mats grinding or the money spent i don't even mind the special power weapons grind.
Also : everything must be engineered to the bone and no torps/mines builds (i don't like this playstyle).

Your build is pretty good. Great shields and hull HP. For PvP you could swap in some PAs/Rails. The reload requirement could be met with huge beams, but that's not meta. My PvP vette has "fast reboot sequence" on the FSD. Gankers like to throw groms at you rather than let you escape. A shield tank like this should expect to be hit with reverb, so your hull and MRP looks good as well. As for the SLF, it causes terrible lag, so when my opponent uses that I'll leave the fight due to rubber banding.

The corvette is garbage at PVP, use something a bit faster (NOT the anaconda)
i have an FDL already, i like the Vette and i saw tons of videos of Vette's crushing Kraits or FDL's and any other ships.
so i prefer to concentrate on an ultimate PVP Corvette.
+ their reverb torps is useless with a Point Defense turret and mine laying is useless against me as i'm never flying straight.

my AX-Vette is already maneuvrable enough to take on Goid interceptors and their fighters with FA-off so i doubt a FDL could get behind me.

I don't think there is a meta pvp vette build. One common denominator is SCB. I know guys that use 4 SCB on their vette and I can't win. Also, 2 PDT will not kill a torp. You want to fit 3-4 PDT utilities for a situational benefit? Good luck with that.

There is no meta pvp corvette build, the corvette is almost never used because its so bad at pvp

I presume you fly in the top 2% of pvpers and FAOff lords. For the rest of us, the vette is a fun pvp ship. If properly fitted, its impossible to kill unless I let you kill me. I have engaged in a fair number of engagements with my vette and gave the other guy/wing a pretty good spanking.

well, unless your reverb torp/mine my Vette you're not gonna do anything, i saw tons of bad Vette pilots that were just deploying a SLF and having an FDL/Krait behind them most of the time with rails or rockets but they just couldn't destroy the Vette because they can't mass lock it nor escape from the SLF pure DPS.
of course good FDL or Krait pilots will probably always win but most of the PVPers aren't good to begin with.

Torp is slow , as long as you keep your distance your PDT will take care of it.
an AX-Vette like mine goes at 285 to 370 m/s in combat mode just by boosting, a torp can't even hope to reach it with it's 250 m/s.

still it doesn't help me, can anyone share his PVP Vette in this thread ?
it'll give me a rough idea of how to proceed with the build.
if i think about it effect wise, 2 railguns + 1 multicanon are the minimum for their engineered special effects, for example my PVE Conda looks like this : https://s.orbis.zone/45bl
just one burst of every weapon is enough to light an enemy ship like it's a christmas tree full of negative special effects.
 
The rookie outlaws give you the chance to boost and outrun the torps, the pros do not. They come at you head on and fire the torps with the exact timing that gives you less than a second to react. Bye bye shields. My point about your build is you can handle that at least long enough to get away, but your FSD is vulnerable.

Yep, Corvette is to slow. Same for Anaconda, but I love mine.


I would probably change it to something like that: https://s.orbis.zone/669d. Change the SCBs to rapid charge, 6s spinup for specialized is to long to not get canceled. The size 7s should be able to be hotbanked and the 2 size 6 double banked with heatsinks. Weapons are up to you, but PA's are always a good idea. TC on the huge for 60% extra damage then you get over 100% heat. But at the end a wing could easily get you in trouble as the Corvette is just to slow.

I run too if I see I'm losing in an organic fight, live for another day. Arraigned fights are until the agreed upon point.
That's what I would build from the AX-Vette from the first post.
My now main account doesn't has access to a Vette and I got to enjoy flying an Anaconda as my go-to big ship, it has only 3200MJ of shields on an undersized prismatic, but it's lot's of fun. I never liked the idea of SCB's until I started using prismatics and now it became 2nd nature. As soon as the recharge is less than the loss on the shield I pop a cell, usually after the first ring. And once I get to the last SCB it's time to make a decision on keeping fighting or doing a brave Sir Robin.
 
what about the shield engineering ? every shield boosters is running with heavy duty 5 + super capacitors except that one with thermal 5 + super capacitors, that can't be a good balance, right ?
also it's using a military grade composite bulkhead.
i'm not really aware of what shield effect and bulkhead i should use for PVP.
same for the hull reinforcement packages, should i change the effect ?
is it fine like that or does it need tweaking ?
should i go toward a higher "absolute" stat ?
 
Shields: Prismatics: Reinforced+hi-cap, Boosters: 1 Thermal, 1 resistance, rest hd, all supercap.
Hull, keep the Military as the rebuy is much lower, if you have enough hrps the resistances get close to even, Everything HD+deep plating
