Need Help from an Imperial Clipper Pilot

I'm working on figuring out some of the finer points of shield mechanics, and could really use a particular piece of information: I need to know how big an imperial clipper's shield is when fit with a class 3 shield. I expect the shield to be very small, but I need to know just how small. If anyone is willing to help, please follow the below instructions and report your findings. You will need some sort of stopwatch to gather the requisite information.

1) Fit your ship with the following equipment:
-Class 1, E-rated power distributor
-Class 3 shield. You can use any rating, just be sure to tell me which one you used
2) From your modules panel, turn off your shield generator
3) Assign 4 pips to sys
3) Wait for the sys capacitor to be completely full
4) Turn on your shield generator
5) After about 16 seconds, your shield will start to recharge. As soon as this starts, start your stopwatch
6) As soon you hear "Shields online", stop the stopwatch
7) Repeat steps 2 through 6 two more times, and take the average of your three results.
8) Report your findings, and include what rating shield you used.

NOTE: It is important that the sys bar is completely drained during the recharging process. If there is still some power left in the capacitor by the time the shields come back online, please try the experiment again at 2 pips in sys instead of 4. Obviously if you run into this, please include that information in your report.

I thank you all in advance for aiding in the effort to understand the shield mechanics of E: D.

Edit: I'd also very much appreciate the same information for the class 4, 5, and 6 shields if possible, but the class 3 is the top priority.
