Need help, im stuck in the turret and can't get out

As said, I've looked on Google, looked at the srv controls, videos, nothing will lead me to the control for this turret, FD sure did a job making it hard to find the turret exit easy to find so you can bind it.

Hmmmmmmmmmm. I just use the same button to get into/out of my turret. Don't think there is a separate button to exit the turret (AFAIK).

You can also activate/deactivate the turret from the lower panel (look down between your knees there).

Log out of horizons & into vanilla ED.

You'll be place back in orbit

Log Back into Horizons & you can land again.

Or simply look at the controls in the menu...

Seriously, just log out of horizons & into vanilla ED, 32 or 64 from the launcher, it doesn't matter which...

Then log back into Horizons & land again if you really want.

I logged out, that's just crazy, who programs these key binding names where it isn't clear...how hard would calling it "turret exit" be.

Pressed it, nothing, but that's a clever joke.

I'm serious. It's the same button that deploys/stores the hardpoints on a ship.

The keybind itself is under "Controls" "Driving" "Toggle SRV Turret".

I routinely use it to get my target on the datapoints when they elevate.

Wish Turret mode had the speedomiter though. Hard to gage your speed when all you have to go on is the sounds.

Under driving I only have;

Drive assist
Drive assist default
Etc, but no turret toggle anywhere, not even in the other folders.

You're not scrolling down far enough. It's at the very bottom under all the roll and pitch controls in the same area as the Handbrake and Headlights. After you open the Driving extended menu you need to keep scrolling until you see the Driving Targeting extended menu and then go up one position.

When 2.0 first hit and I got into the SRV, there was a bug that caused all of your driving controls to be unmapped. I feel your pain OP, glad you found it in the end!
