Hardware & Technical need help with logitech extreme 3d pro binds

hello I have been playing for 4 yrs and I have had few problems.last week my hard drive crashed and when I went and bought a new one steam said I have a new computer.i am 66yrs old and my memory is a bit fuzzy on how to put the binds back in the program.i have turned on open hidden files but that's all I remember.anyone who could help out an old man would make this old man very very happy.

Hey mate,

The location for the bind files is:

C:\Users\<YOURUSERNAME>\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings

Elite doesn't back up binding files into the cloud etc, and they are only stored locally, so unfortunately if your drive has crashed and you didn't backup, you may need to recreate your bindings from scratch.

I checked frontier program and there is no files that you said to loock for.my game is through steam so loocked through there and there are a lot more files but none like you described.i might have to leave a ticket with support.thanks for the help.bill

Both versions of the game (Steam & Non-Steam) use the same location for the binding files. As I mentioned in my first reply, unless you have backed up the copy of your binds manually or can still access the files on your old drive you will have likely lost them. They will not copy back when you install the game again as they are only stored locally on your PC so you will need to copy your original binding files from your old location to the new one I mentioned.
