Need help with possible glitch or I'm just missing something (Ceratosaurus comfort level)

As the title states, I'm having an issue with the Ceratosaurus comfort level. I've put in a few trees to cover his forest bar but nothing I do seems to raise his grassland bar beyond the half-way point. I've flattened the ground and added shrubs. I'm not sure what else there is to do. Another issue I'm having with this is now I cannot place new water sources anywhere in my park. It gives me the "terrain constraints" messages everywhere I try.

Here are two images; one is of the enclosure and the other is the Ceratosaurus stats.

If anyone has any ideas I'd greatly appreciate them. He keeps breaking out every 5 mins and it's really frustrating because I can't play the game and I keep wasting money.

I had a simular problem, what solved it for me was adding a lot of shrubs as it counts as grasland. I do find the terrain restraints problem a huge problem as i get it a lot on diffirent islands, a function that it auromaticly levels the required terrain would be helpfull

Well first of all, it seems like she needs lack of grassland... Meaning the enclosure is simply too small. If you expand the enclosure she'll have more grassland...

I would def make her enclosure bigger and add more forest. I have a huge enclosure with two of them on the first island. They are very happy. Haven't had ANY problems with them. Hope this helps. :)

I would concur. Add more shrubs if you can and also more water. But I think the main thing is going to be the size of the pen itself.

yeah that one really likes grassland, not trees. I was a little questionable at first too, put her in the "default" layout pen where you'd think to naturally create it and it's too small and put trees (or left them naturally) and it goes crazy.

Med size pen, hardly any trees is solution

Has anyone managed to find a combination of species that work with the ceratosaurus? I noticed she likes small groups of same species and other like side dinosaurs. Every herb I put in my cerato enclosure starts a fight although entertaining to watch not what I'm going for.

I tried to feed an old edmontosaurus to my two ceratosaurs and they just ignored it while it ran around in a panic, could try some of them? I just keep my carnivores separate from other species tbh

Pretty much right after I posted here I went and tinkered with all the enclosure stuff. Making it larger seemed to be the issue but the inability to place water fixed itself with a reload of the game. Thanks for all the replies guys :)

Glad that solved it for ya. Yea I extended my cera enclosure pretty far back. Theres only 3 in there. I'm hoping some Raptors mixed in will work well

Raptors at least are a bad idea to be combined with ceratos ;) They want a lot forest and have quite a few stats with little comfort margins
