Need help with trading

Hey guys
I finally bought a hauler, upgraded its cargo and engines and got 20k left
I'm trying to use "Thrudds" trading website to help me with trading, but for some reason it keeps showing me "no results found" no matter what numbers I put in it.
Can someone help me with it plz?

I'm currently at Yakabugai system
got 12 cargo capacity

The online calculator worked, and I found this one trade route but it only game at about 800 credits per jump
I then tried to find a longer route hopefully with higher profit and then it stopped working

I was able to find a 2300/ton round trip trade route starting in Brani using Yakabugai as my starting system. Perhaps you need to increase the search range, or increase the max distance between systems?

What settings did you input? it shows me "no results" no matter what I input... Do I need the game to be running in order for it to work or something?

Edit, ah yes looks like I had to raise the distance
but, my ship is very limited with its distance, its a tier 1 trading craft, slow and short sighted =P
does it means I cant use this tool?

You can use it, it just means you may need to make a few more jumps than your average person till you can get a better frame shift drive, which on a Hauler I'm sure is not horrifically expensive. Just watch your fuel tank and make sure you have enough gas to get from end to end on your route, or you'll get stuck out in the nothingness.

yeah I found a route where I make 5k to 6k in 2 jumps, I think its great for a not so upgraded Hauler :)
I'm not even sure of the 50k FTL drive will actually help me much at this point, ill just keep saving for a cobra

Here's an old Rares route you might use soon.

Dates from before the time of computer plotted multi hop jumps.
And the thing with rares trading is long distances.
But it got me from Sidewinder > Hauler > Cobra > T6 and then I starded schelpping standard commodities and fortifications for Mahon.

You'll be going through a lot of new systems (new to you) so equip a basic > intermediate > advanced scanner and honk your horn as you go.

I remember when I could first afford the advanced scanner.
What a refreshing treat!
A whole system in one go.

I think you need an in game trading computer to keep a record of prices you have seen personally, and do some basic math.

there was a second hop to this route that I cant find anywhere drawn the same way that went from withcaul out to hip something and other for onionhead.. anybody got that one?
