Need help with X52 pro and Joystick Gremlin.

I'm trying to get the mini joystick on the throttle set up to look around in the cockpit, but it isn't being recognised. I've absolutely no idea how to set it up either in JG or in the game settings.

Can anyone help?

Cheers.

try binding it there?

Cheers. i now have it bound in game, but JG is the problem. I don't know how to set it up in there and without that, the game doesn't recognise it.

Ya, shouldn't need JG at all. If the pro is like the normal the mini-stick is set by default to be a mouse. That means it should already be doing headlook as long as it's activated by the middle mouse button.

from what i can gather the mini stick on the pro is a digital input like a hat switch not an axis mouse like input
so setting the increment level right via headlook button increments will be nessar and is inferior to an axis type input offering more precise control and flexability

I know I don't need JG, but it lets me have more control. It means that slight joystick movements only have a slight effect, whereas aggresive movements do a lot more.

that is true but but like i said the mini stick on the throttle is not an axsis type so jg wont fare much better in that regard anyway............

i know but the mini stick is just 4 buitons combined together its not an axsis ie not continious input like the main stick is or a mouse is
so will take some jg wizardry to get right and will not be smooth period
hopefully someone who uses gremlin can help

Yup. Was hoping someone else here might use it. I'll have a look around. Thanks, anyway, for the help. (y)

most enthusiasts invest in a dedicated head tracker myself inc for superior look around ability🤷‍♂️
good luck in setting up your mini stick to do that i suggest you bind your keyboard arrow keys to up down left right see what its gonna be like as a test
or just swap your bind file after backing up your one to a safe place with the one provided earlier where look around is on the joystick mini stick
which you can swap back after trying this out
i assume you have read and understood the bindings guide sticky at the top of this subforum
