At least until a future update where you can pirate fuel instead of cargo. Or you could just threaten to murder a Commander (in-game! IN-GAME!) unless they deliver fuel to the OP... I should probably stop giving you ideas, shouldn't I?

If someone's going to go there why not just take some of his cargo and see if he can reach a port? You can drop it off after. You'll probably also need some guards to fight of the pirates that'll start turning up now. :p

If he has enough to buy hull with loan amount someone could go and store his cargo so at least when he rebuys hull he can trade.

Although he will have no insurance so need a wing to protect him untilhe has funds.
