Need Help!

Hi folks!

First I apologize for my English! If I use any offensive words in this text it is unintentional.

I own an "Oculus Rift DK2". And used it with amazingly good results in Elite, Skyrim, Fallout NV and Left4Dead using the SDK 0.5. I never got Half Life 2 working thou. I also failed to start Steam's TimeMachine VR.

I am using a Medion Erazer Laptop for gaming. It has a NVIDIA Geforce GTX 780M built in. It uses the infamous OPTIMUS Technology. For all I know now, my DK2 is not supported on my Computer. But I had no performance issues in the games I got working.

Now my problem:
I was thinking that mybe TimeMachine VR did not recognise my DK2 becaus I am still using the old SDK0.5, so I upgraded to SDK0.7 fully knowing that Elite wont work. But to my surprise I cant even get the Okulus Demo to work any more. When I start up the Oculus Rift it just 's up my screen resolution for a little while and then shuts down again.

What am I doing wrong?
Has the support of my computer finally run out with SDK0.7?
Is now the time to sell my beloved Rift?

I must confess to not having used my laptop in some time (also with a 780m) but to get it running back in the day you needed to uninstall the driver. If it is indeed another OPTIMUS issue then this thread is a good place to find answers

I would unistall everything oculus related and reinstall also
